Screw Cancer Ltd is a registered charity with the Charity Commission for England
and Wales No 1167706, a charitable company limited by guarantee registered in
England under no 09982274, whose registered address is 270 Kings Road, London
SW3 5AW, United Kingdom and it is regulated by The Charity Commission.
2. Your personal data – what is it?
Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data.
Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other
information in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such
possession. The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data
Protection Regulations (GDPR) Act (2018) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We will only collect, hold, use or share your personal data in ways that are described
here and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your legal rights.
Any personal details that are entered into The Cancer App remain private to
the user. We do not have access to, or collect, any of this personal
information.
We may, however, collect, store and use the following kinds of data.
(a) Information about your device and about your visits to and use of this app
(including your device ID, geographical location, length of visit and number of page
views). Any information we receive is anonymous and will only be used for the
purposes of analysing use of the app and informing any future improvements
(b) Information that you choose to provide to us for the purpose of giving feedback
on The Cancer App or for making contact with the Screw Cancer charity
4. Using your personal data
Personal data submitted on The Cancer App is not accessible to Screw Cancer
merely by your using the app. Any personal data you chose to share directly with
the charity will only be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy. We may
use your personal information to:
(a) enable your use of the services available in the app
(b) Send you notifications that you have specifically requested.
(c) Provide third parties with statistical information about our users - this information
will not be used to identify any individual user
(d) Deal with enquiries and complaints made by or about you relating to the app
We will not provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of
direct marketing

We may disclose information about you to any of our employees, officers, agents,
suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set
out in this privacy policy.

• The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of

• The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The app contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for privacy policies
or practices of third-party websites.
